Faith is an excellent example of what can happen when you cross proven cowhorse lines onto royal reining lines.  She is the daughter of our Smartie, and carries the bloodlines of Smart Mate, Nurse Rey, Shining Spark, Smart Little Lena, and Topsail Cody.  This mare is elegant, refined and yet has the power and athleticism of a well-conditioned athlete.  The mind on this mare is also one of the best we've ever seen.  At the age of four, she was taking an 11 year old girl to her first barrel races, and she handled it like a pro.  Then load up and head to the sorting or cutting pen the next week, she is truly becoming a jack of all trades. 

 Getting compliments everywhere she goes, Faith truly has an old soul, and calm and pleasing demeanor.  Don't be fooled by her beauty though, once she enters the pen, she is all business!  She is truly wicked on a cow, and is turning out to be a phenomenal cutter.   

We were blessed with the opportunity to buy this incredible young mare as a four year old, and although her time at Crooked Creek was relatively short, we are pleased to say her previous owner has since purchased her back and she is now in her forever home and we are excited to see what the future holds for them.
