Smart Mate x Call A Nurse

With a pedigree like hers, you would expect nothing less than a mare that exudes power and confidence.  Smartie is sired by the legendary Smart Mate, and out of a daughter of Nurse Rey, who is the dam of the one and only Dual Rey.  When we decided to bring some cowhorse blood into our program, we were offered this great mare.  The choice to bring her home to Crooked Creek was definitely an easy one to make.  

Smartie is the dam of Faith, who is a prime example of why you would want to cross cowhorse bloodlines with reining lines.  

She is an NCHA earner, and this mare is as solid as the day is long.  Smartie has quickly become a barn favorite here, because of her gentle welcoming nature, but also because she demands the throne.
